This room will tell the story of the raging Canadian River and the early attempts to build a safe crossing. With the construction of the longest bridge west of the Mississippi in 1910 the history of Canadian was changed forever. Room 7 tells the story of the Shaller family who moved their ranching operation from Kansas after being convinced that the Canadian could be crossed.
