First of all, Room 6, The Arrington Ranch, represents the advent of law and order in the wild and wooly West. Texas Ranger Captain Capp Arrington established one of the first ranches in Hemphill County. The homestead, now a guest house, was featured in the Tom Hank’s movie, “The Castaway.” The ranch is operated today by the fourth and fifth generation of the Arrington family.
The room features a Texas Ranger Badge mural, a luxury king size bed, a mini Kitchenette and handicap accessible bathroom with shower. Come to Canadian and relive the exciting history, culture, and adventure of early Texas.
